My Website Story & Endorsement Guideline
Earlier this June, I halted my plan of setting up a business due to personal circumstances (also had to resign from $15k gov't subsidy😭) and now I'm actively seeking for an employer in Korea where I could maximize my impacts.
After COVID Global Facebook group, I'm pushing my limits (yet again) as I don't have much time to wait for better opportunities this time around.
I figured setting up a resume-aligned website may be crucial to communicate better with recruiters, so I'm just getting mine ready! 🤩Honestly, it's so much fun.
Straight to the point, I'm here to ask a small favour for the website within my reach. Specifically, endorsements from my network.
I understand this isn't a conventional way of asking for endorsements, but here are a few reasons why I chose to execute my tactic this way.
1. Maximizing Transparency
2. Minimizing Peer Pressure
3. Addressing Unconcious Bias
Having a work experience in corporate HR setting, I know how strong internal references can empower a candidate but how much bias it can also create. Thus, I planned this small project to help the firms understand me a little bit better.
If you've read up to here and interested in giving me a hand, please consider writing an endorsement by filling this form.
I plan to put all the inputs on my website because I believe it is not okay for me to judge any of my relationships. At the same time, my goal is to provide the website visitors with the utmost objective view of myself, so please don't hesitate even if you're doubtful whether you should write one or not 😉
If you choose to help me, you can be as creative as you want in your writing, but consider including:
1. Your relationship with me
2. My works you've witnessed
3. My strengths you can confidently tell others
4. My values that you adore the most
FYI; my employer targets are mainly large corporates, consulting firms, or sized startups.
